♪ Music playing ♪ Want to make your device more secure? Here's how to set, or change your Passcode. First, tap Settings, then tap Touch ID & Passcode. The next few steps will look a little different depending on if you've set a Passcode previously, or if you're setting one for the first time. If you've previously set a Passcode, enter your current Passcode now to get into passcode settings. If this is your first time setting a Passcode, tap Turn Passcode On.
Great, now everyone can tap Change Passcode. If you've already set a Passcode, you'll be prompted to re-enter it. Now, let's all enter a new six-digit Passcode. Passcode options like an alphanumeric, or shorter numeric code, are available at the bottom of your screen. The six-digit default option is secure and easy to remember, so we'll set that. Now, verify your new Passcode by entering it again. And once you're brought back to Passcode Lock Settings, your Passcode is set. As an optional feature, you can also adjust the amount of time it takes before your device asks for your Passcode. The default is Immediately, which is the most secure option, so we'll keep that. Now, all of your important pictures, messages, and more will be Passcode protected. For more helpful tips like this, subscribe to the Apple Support channel, or click a video to keep watching..
