Capcom’s Secret Hidden Message To Resident Evil Players

Video: Capcom’s Secret Hidden Message To Resident Evil Players

So whilst I'm waiting for Resident Evil 2 remake to drop I thought I'd fall back and do a few runs of the Resident Evil HD remastered that was released for PC and console a few years back. It turns out if you complete the game on invisible enemy mode which is unlocked by beating real survival mode you'll get to see a hidden message from the developers which I thought was pretty cool and worth showing to you guys and it reads… thank you for taking the time to play all the way through Resident Evil if you're reading this letter I salute you you truly are a remarkable player, I dunno about that mate! I imagine you must have had some pretty memorable experiences along the way the pain of seeing the game over screen time after time the sweet taste of victory after you finally beat the game the feelings of camaraderie you shared with your character the excitement and the overwhelming sense of dread.

We believe the games are more than just the products of a team of developers it takes the support of dedicated players like you to make the game worthwhile for this reason we are truly delighted when someone enjoys one of our games as thoroughly as you have therefore on behalf of the entire staff please allow me to express our gratitude and congratulate you on a job well done thank you very much for playing shinji mikami dev team representative kind of a nice message from the devs there you'll also get to see some unused costume designs which is pretty surprising because there's quite a few unlockable costumes already in the game, there's a few here for Chris some of these don't even look like character models they just look like a photo that they've stuck on top of the games background. Those ones like character models but this one here that's just like a photo of some dude in a karate outfit holding a shotgun I think. But uhh..

. Probably would have made a cool design nevertheless… Quite a few for Jill here as well like I said it's surprising because there's a few unlocks already I wonder how hard it would have been for the devs to put these in or why these didn't make it in how old these are really not sure. Rebecca had a few too I think she's got like three pages of designs here but I guess that's because she only actually has the one outfit in the game. and uhhh… you get to see the one they went with her think at the end here yeah on the right maybe they could have put some alternate costumes in for Rebecca but you only really get to play as her for a short area of the game I also thought I'd check to see if this game had any other cool Easter eggs and it turns out this game only has a couple the only other one worth mentioning here is at the gravestones in the graveyard and the stones below where you place the death mask roughly translate into Capcom from some form of Latin but yeah that's about it cheers for watching guys, I appreciate you being here more Easter regular resident evil content shall be linked around on the screen or in the description for any who would like to check it out.

and until next time…. take it easy..
